UP CM Yogi Adityanath kick-started his election campaign for the upcoming Bihar polls. Not only Yogi Adityanath, but other bigwigs of the BJP will be in the state to woo the voters as well.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and party national president JP Nadda are just a few big names among the list of 30-star campaigners of the BJP.
PM Modi is scheduled to address 12 rallies, whereas Yogi Adityanath will address 18 rallies across the state. According to sources, PM Modi and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar will send out a strong message to the people of Bihar in a joint rally in Sasaram and Gaya on October 23.
It will be PM Modi’s first rally ahead of polls. On October 28, he will hold rallies in Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, and Patna
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is going to address more than 18 rallies over the six days.
NewsMobile spoke to the National Spokesperson of RJD, Nawal Kishore, regarding the long list of BJP’s star campaigners. He said that “declining popularity of JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar has put BJP on the back foot in Bihar. Mahagathbandhan’s CM face Tejashwi Yadav has proved his mettle as the youngest opposition leader in the state, BJP is trying to stop him with all the star-studded candidates. They are hiding real issues like unemployment.”
On the other side, Congress has picked old guard to give a tough fight to the NDA candidates.
The grand old party’s star campaigner list includes Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Sachin Pilot, and Shatrughan Sinha
Rahul Gandhi will kick-start the poll campaign in Bihar on October 23 as well.
He will address two rallies in a day. He will also hold a joint rally with Tejashwi Yadav in Hisua constituency. He has also planned to meet party leaders to chalk out the poll strategy. His rallies on October 23 is set to coincide with the programme of PM Narendra Modi.
