“Victim Rahul was friends with a girl from Jahangirpuri. Her family objected to it so her relatives beat him up, leading to his death. Md Raj, Manwar Husaain & 3 minors arrested. We appeal to people to not give any colour to the case, it is dispute of two families,” DCP of North West Delhi said.
A CCTV footage from October 7 shows Rahul – out on a street with the girl – when he was believed to have been called by some people for tuition. As he covered some distance on foot, he was thrashed badly; he died at a hospital later due to injuries.
