US President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump have tested positive for covid-19.
President Trump said in a tweet that he and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for Covid-19. The president said they will begin ”quarantine and recovery process immediately.” The president was tested after Hope Hicks, one of his closest aides, also tested positive. Hicks traveled with Trump aboard Air Force One to and from the presidential debate in Cleveland on Tuesday.

Hicks, 31, who serves as a counsellor to the president, reportedly tested positive for the disease on Thursday, the day after she travelled with the president to a rally.
