Senior diplomat Indramani Pandey has been appointed as India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva.
A 1990-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, Indramani Pandey is currently serving as an additional secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.
The senior diplomat will succeed Rajiv K Chander in Geneva. In his 30-year-long tenure, he has also served as joint secretary in the Disarmament and International Security Affairs division of the MEA at its headquarters in Delhi.
The diplomat was involved in Indian missions in Damascus, Cairo, Islamabad, Kabul, Muscat and Geneva.
