In a shocking development, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father has filed an FIR against his rumoured girlfriend, actress Rhea Chakraborty, alleging her of mental harassment and of cheating him financially.
Patna Police has already filed the FIR and a four-member team has been sent to Mumbai to overlook the investigation. “FIR registered against actor Rhea Chakraborty under various sections, including abetment of suicide, on the complaint of Sushant Singh Rajput’s father,” Sanjay Singh, Inspector General, Patna Central Zone, said to ANI.
He also continued to add that “a four-member team has been sent to Mumbai. The team will collect case diaries and other important documents from Mumbai Police.”
The FIR was registered on Tuesday by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father. According to the Mumbai Police, the brilliant actor took his own life by committing suicide last month. Sushant’s family currently resides in Patna and has gone public for the first time with these allegations.

In another update, on Monday, while recording his statement with Santa Cruz police station, Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt said that he never asked actor Rhea Chakraborty to leave her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput.
“I have never said anything to Rhea about leaving Sushant or anything like that. Rumors about this are baseless,” he said.
Almost after a month of Sushant’s death, Rhea came out on social media platforms about her relationship with ‘Dil Bechara’ actor and requested Home Minister Shah for a CBI probe of the matter.
