PM salutes Galwan martyrs, hails brave sons of Bharat Mata

In a message straight from the heart, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed soldiers at Nimmoo in Ladakh for nearly 26 minutes, reiterating that 1.3 billion Indians stands as a rock behind its soldiers.

Saluting the Galwan martyrs, PM Modi, whose speech today has acted as a force multiplier to boost the morale of the soldiers, reinforced that Galwan is ours and Ladakh is India’s pride. Saluting “Bharat Mata and mothers of the martyred soldiers”, PM Modi said that the “weak don’t accomplish peace, the brave do”.

Delivering a strong message to China and its aggresive expansionist policies, PM Modi without even naming China once said, “Enemy has seen your fire and fury. The world knows India’s strength. India wants peace but it isn’t as if India cannot defend it’s borders.”


This is the first time since the 1971 war, has any Prime Minister spoken to the troops in a forward area. “Your bravery and dedication for the motherland is unparalled.

Every single Indian across the world, has the belief the you all can deliver and keep the nation strong and safe. Your courage is higher than than the heights where you all are stationed. Your arms are as strong as the mountains that surround you. Your confidence, determination and belief is as atal (immovable) as the peaks here.”

Hailing the never-say-die spirit of the soldiers, he said, “The conditions in which you all deliver your best in spite of all difficulties are among the toughest in the world and you have proven time and again that the Indian armed force is mightier and better than anyone else in the world.”

Harping on his vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, PM Modi sent out a loud message against “Vsstarvaad” and talked of this being the age of “Vikasvaad” instead.
