1. India reported its highest ever single-day spike with 9,851 new COVID-19 cases, 273 deaths in the last 24 hours.
2. The total number of cases in country stands at 2,26,770, with the death toll at 6,348.
– Active cases: 1,10,960
– Cured/discharged/migrated cases: 1,09,462
3. Total 43,86,376 samples have been tested till now, of which 1,43,661 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours: ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research).
4. Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to contain the spread of COVID-19 at restaurants.

5. Delhi Government issued list of private hospitals having bed strength of 50 beds or more, which were allotted land at concessional rates by land owning agencies and are under obligation to provide 10% IPD and 25% OPD free of charge to EWS category, to reserve beds for EWS patients with COVID-19.
6. Delhi reported 1,359 new COVID-19 positive cases on Thursday, total number of cases stands at 25,004. Death toll stands at 650. There are 14,456 active cases.

7. 127 new COVID-19 cases reported in Telangana on Thursday, taking the total number of cases in the state to 3,147.
8. 327 COVID-19 cases reported in Haryana on Thursday. Total number of cases in the state is now at 3,281, including 1,123 recovered/discharged and 24 deaths.
9. Rajasthan reports 210 new COVID-19 positive cases till 8:30 pm on Thursday, taking the total number of cases to 9,862. Number of active cases stand at 2,545.
10. A total of 285 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in Assam till 11:15 PM on Thursday. The total number of positive cases in the state stands at 2115, including 459 discharged and 4 deaths.
