+ The sky’s finally clearing up for the football fans around the world- La Liga is all set to restart from June 8!

After Bundesliga spread cheers among the football fans, it’s the much loved La Liga, that is all set to restart on June 8 after the Spanish government on Saturday gave approval for football to resume in the country.

The Spanish top league has been suspended since March because of the coronavirus pandemic but will be back next month.

+ HBO contributes USD one million for COVID-19 relief by cancelling FYC and Emmy party

HBO has decided to contribute USD one million to Los Angeles COVID-19 relief fund, instead of spending the money for their traditional Emmy party and FYC (For Your Consideration) events.

A representative for the network confirmed they will not throw an Emmy party this year.

“On behalf of Bob Greenblatt and myself, we are proud to make this contribution from HBO instead of using it for our traditional Emmy party and FYC events,” The Hollywood Reporter quoted Casey Bloys, president of HBO Programming as saying.

+ Police officials at JJ Marg Police Station welcomed the three police personnel by applauding for them and showering flower petals on them, as they rejoined work today after completely recovering from COVID-19.

+ Madhuri Dixit spreads the light of positivity amid COVID-19 with ‘Candle’

Bollywood’s evergreen actor Madhuri Dixit released her first-ever single ‘Candle’ in an exclusive Facebook Live video on Saturday.

In the video, the actor is seen crooning to the song of ‘positivity.’

The song intends to bring high hopes and positivity among people amid these trying times. The music video ends with the actor lighting a candle.

“This is dedicated to all those fighting on the frontlines. They are the real heroes today. We need to burn bright like the candles through the hurricane and emerge stronger together,” read the caption towards the end of the video.
