In the last 24 hours, India recorded 3,525 new COVID-19 cases and 122 deaths, according to the latest data released by the Health Ministry on Wednesday morning.
The total positive cases in the country are now climbed to 74,281, including 47,480 active cases and 24,386 cured ones. The death toll has reached 2,415.

1. Addressing the nation on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the fourth phase of the lockdown will be in a new form.
2. He also announced a complete package worth Rs 20 lakh crore to deal with the economic crisis due to the COVID-19.
3. Starting Wednesday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will announce details of an economic package worth Rs 20 lakh crore or 10% of India’s GDP in 2019-20.

5. Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said India can now do one lakh COVID-19 tests per day and mortality rate is almost lowest in world.
6. The Maharashtra government has allowed home delivery of liquor to avoid crowding at shops. However, the order, issued by the Home Department, will come into effect only after guidelines are finalised, said a senior official.
