Mother’s Day 2020: Amitabh, Priyanka, Kareena, here’s how celebs are wishing their moms!

Mother’s Day is a celebration to honour the mother of the family, motherhood and maternal bonds. It is observed on different days across various parts of the months, This day is celebrated by spending quality time with mothers, sending messages or wishes, and giving special gifts.

As the nation is celebrating Mother’s Day today, Bollywood actors Kareena Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Deepika Padukone, among others took to social media to showcase the love for their mothers and celebrate motherhood on this special day.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan shared a video on Instagram and wrote, “Corona Remember when you were unwell, and she nursed you back to health? This #MothersDay, let’s go back to those old days, and share our troubles with our loved ones. Corona se ladna hain, darna nahin hain! #IndiaFightsCorona #SetuMeraBodyguard.”

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone shared an old handwritten letter that she wrote to her mother with all her accomplishments to wish her on Mother’s Day. “For your unconditional love, for always putting our priorities before your own, for holding us together…every step of the way!And last but not the least, for showing us how to be ridiculously meticulous!(as shown in exhibit B) We love you!,” she wrote.

Sharing a picture on Instagram, Kareena Kapoor wrote, “This pretty much sums up mother’s day and well… every other day with Tim,” along with a picture of her son Taimur Ali Khan.

Sonam, who is in New Delhi with her husband Anand Ahuja amid lockdown, shared a bunch of pictures with her mother Sunita and wrote a touching note. She said: “Mama I love you. Miss you so so so much.. I can’t wait to see you and hug you tight. Happy Mother’s Day.. @kapoor.sunita.” The collection features many pictures with her mother, where both the ladies are all dressed up and look stunning. Some of them feature her sister Rhea Kapoor as well.

Taking to Instagram, Ayushmann wrote alongside, “Ma Here’s something for all the Mothers out there who constantly and selflessly shape our lives and the world. You need extreme purity and sensitivity as an artiste to come up with such a creation. Thanks guys!”

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut dedicated a beautiful poem for her mother Asha. “I’m your longing for life. When I first arose in your young heart…Your eyes gleamed with hope.”

Actress Sonam K Ahuja too shared a couple of pictures on Mother’s Day. One of the snaps included her mother and mother-in-law. “Love you both.. happy mamas day!” she captioned the post.
