Why Lockdown 3.0 is good for the nation: Editor in Chief Saurabh Shukla on Arnab’s show

Lockdown 3.0 is the right step to stop the growth of the novel coronavirus cases in the country, NewsMobile Editor-in-Chief, Saurabh Shukla said on Friday.

Speaking on a debate show on Republic TV, he said: “This is the best hybrid model that the government could have got at this stage. It has been done after studying global best practices.”

The government on Friday extended the nationwide lockdown for two more weeks starting from May 4 till May 17.

It has put forward a list of activities that will be permitted and sectors that would remain operational in all the three zones — Red, Orange and Green.
