A post attributed to former Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi is making rounds on social media. The caption claims there there shouldn’t be any election for the next 10 years to cover the economic loss from the Coronavirus.
The caption of the post read: ‘‘कोरोना से हुए आर्थिक नुकसान को पूरा करने के लिए अगले १० वर्षो तक कोई चुनाव न हो | क्युकी चुनाव में बहुत खर्चा होता है और मोदी जी ही प्रधानमंत्री बने रहे, क्या राइ हैं आपकी”
Translation: There should be no election for the next 10 years to cover the economic loss from Corona. Because it costs a lot in elections and Modiji remains the Prime Minister. What is your opinion
