Sleeping man cremated by mistake? Here’s the fact check

A post that is being shared widely on social media claims that an exhausted funeral home employee was cremated by mistake while taking a nap.

The post claims that a 48-year old man Micheal Jones from New York died after being accidentally cremated by one of his coworkers while taking a nap on a stretcher after working for sixteen hours straight.

We found more posts on social media with similar claims.

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile checked the authenticity of the report, we found it to be FAKE.

On putting some keywords like ‘exhausted’ ’employee’ and ‘cremated’ we found an article that was originally posted by World News Daily Report.

However, when we scroll through the page, we found a disclaimer.

This proves that the report is fictional and holds no validity.
