Key takeaways from Health Ministry daily briefing on COVID-19

In its daily media briefing, the Health Ministry on Monday said that in the last 24 hours, 796 COVID-19 positive cases and 35 deaths were reported.

Here are the key takeaways from the briefing:

– States are working continuously to enforce lockdown measures. Retired personnel, NSS and NCC cadets, and officials of other departments too are assisting the police in enforcing lockdown measures: Punya Salila Srivastava, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs.
