The Uzbekistan Airlines is all set to operate a Chartered flight from Tashkent to Delhi on March 21 to transport Indians stranded in that country.
A notice issued by the Embassy of India in Tashkent read that this may be the last opportunity for Indian nationals who are stranded in the country to return to India before the embargo placed by the Uzbek authorities on incoming and outgoing flights is lifted.
The Embassy also said that it may not be able to provide any assistance after the departure of this aircraft.

The circular also called on all the ticket holders to get their tickets re issued by the airlines in its main office, situated in the Amir Temur street of the capital city.
Individuals holding tickets that have been purchased for the period March 16-April 15, 2020 need to get it reissued immediately.
Those who do not have tickets or have tickets of other airlines can purchase fresh tickets from the office.
Uzbekistan is a popular tourist destination for Indian nationals and and also a sizeable student population mostly enrolled in course related to medicine.
