Here’s the truth behind the picture of Yogi Adityanath and President Trump

Following US President Donald Trump’s India visit, a picture is doing rounds on social media in which Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can be seen presenting a painting to President Trump and the First Lady Melania Trump.

Upon looking closely it can be seen that the painting in the viral picture is the same as the one in the popular Bollywood movie ‘Welcome’.

NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture and found it to be FAKE.

On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture in which Yogi Adityanath is actually presenting a framed picture of President Trump and Melania Trump in front of the Taj Mahal to him.

The picture was taken on February 24th, 2020 when President Trump and First Lady visited Taj Mahal on the first day of their India visit.

In the above FAKE vs REAL collage, it is clear that the original picture was manipulated using photo editing software.
