Gargi is an all women’s college and is located in the south campus of the Delhi University.

The management has issued a statement saying that men were allowed into the college as it was the fest and it was pointed out that women students had a separate area and came out at their own risk.

According to the National Crime Records Bureau, annual crime report 2017, Delhi has been found to be the most unsafe city for women. In the last few months, the city has witnessed a deteriorating law and order situation.
