Rajasthan Minister, Subhash Garg, has said that one person suspected with Coronavirus has been admitted to the Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur. The patient has been kept in isolation and the condition is said to be stable. The patient’s samples have been sent to Pune for tests. The state government is taking all precautions.
Air India has also issued a statement that a Boeing 747 has been kept on standby for evacuation of Indians from China due to the Coronavirus. They are awaiting the government decision.
A suspected case of Coronavirus was also reported in Bihar on Monday. According to the Superintendent, Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), a girl hailing from Chapra, who recently returned from China, was admitted to ICU at a hospital in Chapra after she showed symptoms similar to that of Coronavirus.
She has been referred to Patna and will be kept under observation at PMCH.
“After she reaches PMCH, her blood sample will be sent to National Institute of Virology in Pune for test and then treatment will be provided as per reports. We are prepared for such a suspected case of Coronavirus”, Vimal Karak, Superintendent, Patna Medical College & Hospital said.

Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has on Sunday said that no case of the novel SARS-like coronavirus has been reported yet in India so far while adding that a total of 4,359 passengers arriving from 22 flights were screened for the illness on Sunday.
The Health Minister has also urged the Central Government to conduct a full screening of suspected persons arriving from international airports.
The Airport Health Organisation, GOI earlier today had said that no passengers to Bengaluru having history of a visit to Wuhan, China in last 14 days, reported positive with Coronavirus. A total 392 passengers underwent thermal scanner screening from yesterday till 8am today at Bengaluru International airport.
