Fact Check: This man in RSS uniform is not the Mangaluru Airport bomb suspect

A photo of an RSS worker is being shared online with a claim that he is the suspect arrested for placing an explosive device at the Mangaluru airport.

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral picture and found the claim to be fake.

While going through the comments on the post, we found that the man in the picture is Sandeep Lobo.

We checked his Facebook profile and found a post-dated Jan 23. In the post, he stated that the news is FALSE and he has also filed a case regarding this.

Moreover, newswire ANI also released a picture of the suspect and he does not resemble Sandeep Lobo.

The above information proves that the claim attached to the viral picture is false.
