BJP will not move back even an inch on Citizenship Amendment Act: HM Amit Shah

Jodhpur: Amid the protests over the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019, in different parts of the country, Union Home Minister, Amit Shah on Friday recapitulated that CAA is not against the minorities and there is no question of its being withdrawn.

Amit Shah also launched an attacked at the Congress as he accused the opposition of spreading misinformation.

“Even if all these parties come together, BJP will not move back even an inch on this issue of the Citizenship Amendment Act. You can spread as much misinformation as you want,” he said.

“For vote-bank politics, Congress party is speaking against a great personality like Veer Savarkar as well. Congressmen should be ashamed of themselves,” he added.
