FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture and found the claim to be fake.

On putting the image through Reverse Image Search, we found this picture in an article by The Hindu published on February 20, 2011.

The caption on the original picture, which is a colour photo, read, ” Diligent: A Paperboy on His Way to Deliver the Morning Newspapers – Photo: M Subhash. ”

However, it is true that the former Indian President distributed newspapers as a 10-year-old in his hometown of Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu but the above picture is NOT his.
