A businessman from Mumbai was arrested for abetting the rape of his own wife by his friends and filming the acts. He has been remanded to police custody till December 23.
The woman has now sought a divorce and filed criminal charges against her husband, who was arrested on Tuesday.
Narrating her ordeal, the woman said that she was raped by her husband’s friends thrice since the past two years.

Her ordeal began on June 15th, 2017, when her husband introduced her to his friend after having dinner. The harassment began during a car ride, when she was allegedly molested first and then later raped in a flat. She claims her husband swapped her with his friend’s wife.
She narrated her ordeal to her father-in-law who didn’t take any action.
The second incident took place in October 2017 when she was taken to a flat and raped by another friend of her husband. Her husband had filmed this act and this is when her husband allegedly threatened to kill her.
Two days later, another person was brought to their residence, who then raped her.
Her husband has been booked for criminal intimidation, rape and assault.
The couple were married in 2003 and have two children.
