FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the viral 11-second clip, we found it to be misleading.

On putting the keyframes of the video through a Reverse Image Search, we found Rahul Gandhi’s full close to 19-minute speech on Congress’ official YouTube channel dated October 13th, 2019.

In the video, Gandhi in an election rally in Maharashtra’s Latur is actually slamming Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi who fled the country after committing fraud.

The exact part which has been extracted from the full video can be seen from 15:10 minute counter onwards.

Hence, this proves that a short clip from the full video was extracted to create a false narrative.
