Kazakhstan pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary as a video posted by Embassy of Kazakhstan in India shows Kazakh artists singing ‘Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye.’
The Embassy of Kazakhstan in India also congratulated Indian friends on the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The post said “Today the thoughts of this Great man are a guide for those who strive for spiritual prosperity, preservation of moral values in life, who want to do good and coexist peacefully.” It added “On this significant day, we wish the friendly people of #India happiness and success, peace and prosperity.

Diplomatic relations have increased significantly in the 21st century, unlike the 1990s where the ties were passive between the two countries. Both nations seek to develop commercial and strategic partnerships in the Central Asia region.
