New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Russia’s Vladivostok on Wednesday (September 4th).
Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale on Monday told reporters that “it’s going to be a short visit, just 36 hours. PM will arrive in Vladivostok on 4th September morning & depart on 5th Sept evening”.

The visit will largely focus on Eastern Economic Forum to which Russian President Vladimir Putin had invited PM Modi as chief guest. PM Modi will also hold the 20th annual summit between India and Russia
“There are two main purposes for this visit- he has been invited by President Putin to attend Eastern Economic Forum as one of the chief guest & he’ll also hold the 20th annual summit between India & Russia,” Gokhale added.
