” रिजर्व बैंक मे अब कुछ भी रिजर्व नहीं रहा मेरा सरकार व RBI दोनों से सवाल है कि विदेशी निवेशक आपकी किस गारंटी पर देश में निवेश करेगे सोना आपने पिछले ही कार्यकाल मे गिरवी रख दिया था बचा रिजर्व रुपया वह भी ले लिया अब कम से कम 15 वर्ष देश मंदी से नहीं भर पाएगा इस दौरान महंगाई आसमान छू लेगी” the text in the screenshot read.
The post was also shared in a group ‘I support Ravish kumar NDTV’ and had over 900 shares.
FACT CHECK
When we fact-checked the post, we found that Dr Manmohan Singh never tweeted this.
When we checked the Twitter handle that had tweeted this (@ManmohanFan), we found a disclaimer that the account is NOT the official handle of the former Prime Minister.
The bio of the handle read, ” [Only fan,s club] Please pay attention !! This account is not linked to Dr. Manmohan Singh in any way. ”
As a matter of fact, Dr Manmohan Singh doesn’t have an official Twitter account anymore. In 2012 he made his Twitter debut. His handle was @PMOIndia, the official Twitter handle of the Prime Minister’s Office. He used the account till May 2014, when his term as the Prime Minister ended.
The above information proves that the tweet was not done by the former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
