World Photography Day: Here are the winners of the World Press Photo 2019

The 62nd Edition of World Press Photo(WPP), the prestigious annual photojournalism competition, has chosen the winners from a pool of more than 78,801 photographs entered by 4,738 photographers from across 129 countries.

Started in 1955 by the Scottish Parliament as a part of the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, the World Press Photo recognises and honours photojournalists around the world.
