In a recent case of eve-teasing, two men chased a woman’s car for about two kilometers in Gurugram around 7.30 in the evening.
The incident took place at NH8 Highway on Saturday evening, when the young woman was crossing Ambience Mall bridge heading towards Gurugram from Delhi in her car. Two men boarded in a Sumo type car chased the woman’s car.
When Newsmobile team contacted the woman for information on the entire incident, she said, “The youths in the big car started chasing my car. First, they kept their car next to my car for about a few miles. Seeing them, I reduced the speed of my car, but then they also reduced the speed and kept the car next to me.”
The woman further said, “I wanted to increase the speed of the car in a huff, but they put their car in front of my car. This went on for about two kilometers. I also tried to call the police but could not get in touch. They might be scared to see me calling and the car went back.”
After this, the woman hurriedly turned her car on the road leading to Sector 29 of Gurugram. The woman also wrote about this incident on social media.

The woman said the incident was very scary and she had goosebumps at the time. Alleging the administration for negligence, she said that this incident has happened to her today, but tomorrow it can happen with anyone.
In such a situation, the administration should take necessary steps. She added that due to the failure of the police, such people are getting emboldened for committing such acts.
