Netflix drops trailer for Sacred Games 2; fans excited

Fans are elated as Netflix released the first trailer of the much-awaited second season of Sacred Games. The season is scheduled to air on August 15, 2019; starring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pankaj Tripathi in leading roles.

Apart from a few new additions to the cast, the trailer shows several similar faces from the first season. This year, actors like Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey have joined the cast.

In the trailer we can see the character of Guruji, played by Pankaj Tripathi, playing a key role in this season as compared to his brief introduction in season one. We can also see the story still proceeding in two timelines as it did in the first season.

Sacred Games with its highly successful first season changed the image of online streaming in India. The second season of the series has been directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan, and Vikramaditya Motwane will be serving as the showrunner.

After a promising first season a large number of fans are eager to tune into netflix on August 15 to what comes next.
