(Translation: People burnt alive due to fire in Mansa Devi swing of Haridwar …. very painful accident)

FACT CHECK

When the fact-checking team at NewsMobile did a fact check on the video, we found that the claim is fake.

On putting the key frame of the video through Reverse Image Search, we found the original video on YouTube.

The caption od the video read- “Jericho Cable Car Israel Catches Fire Midway”

On putting the keyphrase ‘Jericho Cable Car Israel Catches Fire ‘, we found an article by israellycool dated March 5, 2015.

The clip is from Israel when a famous Palestinian comedian narrowly escaped death while filming for a popular Palestinian TV show.

According to Palestinian media, during the filming of the show one of the production assistants used a firecracker without getting permission beforehand from the site management.  The firecracker caused the cable car to catch on fire.

Hence, the above information proves that the video is not from Haridwar.
