Vicky Kaushal’s first look as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw is out, fans can’t keep calm

Vicky Kaushal has been in the news since his performance as Major Vihaan Shergill in Uri: The Surgical Strike which got love from the audience and enjoyed box office success. Now he will be again seen in a similar ‘avatar’ portraying the famous and legendary Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in Meghna Gulzar’s next. The first look of the actor in the role of Sam Manekshaw is out and he looks extremely similar to the Field Marshal.

Meghna Gulzar and Vicky Kaushal will be teaming up again after their superhit film ‘Raazi’ where Vicky played the role of a Pakistani Army Major. The actor has made a mark in the minds of the audiences and fans have accepted this transformation with open arms. The film is set to go on floors next year. Vicky also paid tribute on the death anniversary of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw and shared the first look with a heartfelt caption,The swashbuckling general & the first Field Marshal of India- SAM MANEKSHAW. I feel honoured & proud of getting a chance to unfold his journey on-screen. Meghna said in an interview that the film is not a biopic but will record and track Sam Manekshaw’s life with crucial events taken from his life and an interesting storyline.

Fans on Twitter are comparing the photo of the real Sam Manekshaw and Vicky playing the role and the resemblance is uncanny.
