A picture of Bollywood star Aamir Khan is being shared on social media with a claim that he is with Junaid Jamshed and Maulana Tariq, Lashkar-e-Taiba(LeT) terrorists.

Another post was shared in a group called ‘Saffron Bharat’.
FACT CHECK
When NewsMobile fact-checked the post, we found the claim to be false.
On putting the image through reverse image search, we found the picture is from 2012 when Aamir Khan accompanied his mother Zeenat Hussain on a pilgrimage to Hajj.
The picture also was shared by Junaid Jamshed from his official verified Twitter account. “With @Aamir_Khan and Maulana Tariq Jameel Sahab accompanied by Afridi, ” the tweet read.

However, the people in the picture with Aamir Khan are not terrorist.
An article published in India Today on December 7, 2016, states that Junaid Jamshed is a famous Pakistani singer. He and his wife passed away in a plane crash in 2016.
We found another article in The Express Tribune published on April 1, 2019, on Maulana Tariq Jameel where he was addressed as Religious scholar, preacher and public speaker.
Moreover, we did not find any reports or evidence to support the claim that Junaid Jamshed and Maulana Tariq are members of an active terrorist organisation.
The above information proves that the claim about Aamir Khan standing with two LeT terrorists is FAKE.
