RSS will give advice to government whenever it falters: Mohan Bhagwat

Date:

The RSS plans to give constructive advice to the government whenever it falters, Mohan Bhagwat said on Sunday. He mentioned that a democratically-elected government must not misuse their power and should be kept under check.

Addressing a Sangh gathering in Kanpur, the RSS chief said, “Those getting elected in a democratic set-up have immense power, but this does not mean that it should be misused. If the government falters at any point in time, the Sangh will give it advice and suggestions with a positive point of view.”

His comments came days after BJP led NDA got a landslide victory and Narendra Modi was elected as the PM for the second term consecutively.

He then addressed the RSS meeting and later said “volunteers that they should not be arrogant, no matter how much good work they have done or how much they have helped others.”
