Don’t believe this picture of Sambit Patra; it’s photoshopped!

A photo of BJP National Spokesperson, Sambit Patra is doing rounds on the internet.

He can be seen sitting on a pavement having dinner with a homeless couple. The caption reads- “Bjp candidate Sambit Patra has exposed all Modi lies in single photo. House for everybody , Ujwala Gas, Digital India, Electrification, 2 crore Jobs, Swacch Bharat, Smart city etc etc.

FACT CHECK

When our fact-check team put the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the flipped version of the original picture in a news article.

On cropping Sambit Patra from the picture and putting it through Reverse Image Search, we found the original image.

His picture was taken from a tweet on his official Twitter account. The picture was upload on March 31, 2019, while he was campaigning in Odisha.

This proves that the photo is photoshopped.
