Fact Check: Don’t believe what’s written on Swara Bhaskar’s placard in this picture

Date:

Another picture of Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar holding a placard has surfaced on the internet which read, “This rape didn’t happen in a temple. The rapist is not a Hindu. The rapist is not a BJP supporter, How can U expect me to fight for the little girl? Shame on you All!”

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post we found that the text on the placard is FAKE.

On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture on Swara Bhaskar’s verified Instagram in which she was showing her outrage against the incident of 8-year-old being raped.

Hence, this proves that the viral picture of Swara Bhaskar is manipulated using Photoshop software.
