Fact Check: This is what she actually wrote on the placard

Date:

A picture of a girl is making rounds on social media in which she can be seen holding a placard slamming the Congress.

The placard read: “किसी भी लावारिस वास्तु को ना छुए उसमे बम हो सकता है, ऐसे विज्ञापन टेवेलिसिओं पर दुबारा देखने के लिए कांग्रेस को वो दें|”

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture, we found that the picture has been photoshopped.

On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture on Facebook.

The girl in the picture is Smriti Sinh who uploaded a series of picture holding placard slamming the current government.

The above picture was manipulated using Photoshop software to pass a completely different message.

On closely observing both pictures in FAKE vs REAL collage, we can notice that in both the pictures, the position of her fingers are identical, and the typed text on the white background was placed on the placard in the original picture.

This proves that the viral picture is FAKE.
