Fact Checked: This picture of PM Modi and Amit Shah is FAKE

A picture of Prime Minister Modi and BJP President Amit Shah has gone viral on social media.

In the picture, both the leaders can be seen holding BJP Manifesto with ” Chowkidar chor hai” written on it.

At the time of filing the fact-check, the post had more than 5,000 shares.

FACT CHECK

When we fact-checked the picture, we found out that it was fake.

When we put the image through Reverse Image Search, we got the original photo.

This picture was clicked at the 2019 Manifesto release of BJP.

On comparing the two pictures, we will note that the viral picture is photoshopped.
