Watch: The much awaited ‘Kalank’ trailer will leave you mesmerised

‘Kalank’ has been making rounds and breaking the internet, be it the first look or the teaser till the songs were released. Finally, after keeping the audiences on their toes, the makers have finally released the trailer of the epic love saga.

The actors shared the trailer on social media on Wednesday.

The teaser gave a few glimpses of ‘Kalank’ but the trailer has given out a little more clarity on the storyline. The film is set in the 1940s and touted as a period drama but the theme is eternal love. The larger than life song sequences, the magnificent sets, costumes, and the intense performances are reflected in the trailer along with masterful cinematography.

The makers have released the individual posters of every major character in the film and have also released three numbers till now, ‘‘Ghar More Pardesiya’, Varun Dhawan’s dance number ‘First Class’ and ‘Kalank’s title track. All the songs have received positive reviews from both, the audience and the critics alike.

Helmed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, ‘Kalank’ has a stellar star cast that includes, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit-Nene in pivotal roles.

The film will hit the theatres on April 17, 2019.
