Former Defence Minister and current Chief Minister of Goa, Manohar Parrikar passed away after his long terminal illness. The politician had been battling with Pancreatic cancer since February 2018. However, his health took a major toll in the last couple of days and he passed away on Sunday.
Celebrities and prominent figures from all walks of life expressed grief over his demise on social media. Bollywood celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay, Anupam Kher and Swara have shared posts on their Twitter handles.
