Would personally hate to give Pak two points and help them in the tournament: Tendulkar

Date:

Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar on Friday expressed his personal hatred for the fact that India will give two points to Pakistan if it decides to boycott the arch-rivals in the World Cup.

He took to Twitter and wrote, “India has always come up trumps against Pakistan in the World Cup. Time to beat them once again. Would personally hate to give them two points and help them in the tournament.”

He also added that for him, India comes first and that he would support whatever the country decides with all his heart.

Meanwhile, the 2002 Indian Cricketer of the Century Kapil Dev said, “To play or not to play is something which does not have to be decided by people like us. It has to be decided by the givernment. It’s better if we don’t give an opinion and leave it to govt and concerned people. What they decide will be in interest of the nation. We’ll do what they want.

More than 40 CRPF soldiers were killed in the deadly terror attack that took place in J&K’s Pulwama on 14th February, the responsibility of which was claimed by Jaish-e-Mohammed.
