NewsMobile Smart Traveller: 13 Delhi-bound trains delayed due to moderate fog

As many as 13 Delhi- bound trains were delayed due to the wispy moderate fog on Sunday morning in the national capital.

The chill in the air remained in the city with maximum temperature settling at 22 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 9.4 degrees Celsius.

“The air quality only slightly degraded from yesterday. It will remain in moderate category for tomorrow and then slip to the poor range for the next two days. The foggy conditions are mainly due to locally generated radiation fog,” System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR) said.

Today’s Basant Panchami festival heralds the season of spring and the MeT department too has predicted a rise in temperatures over the next few days.
