Ranveer Singh begins training for Kapil Dev biopic
After Sushant Singh starrer MS Dhoni, fans can look forward to another cricket biopic about Kapil’s Dev journey and his historic world cup win in 1983. The film titled ’83’ will star Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev. Ranveer has started training for the film to learn the mannerisms and cricketing style of Kapil Dev.
“I am looking forward to spending time with Kapil Sir. I feel like that time spent would be integral to my process of transforming myself into him,” Ranveer stated.
He earlier stated in an interview that everyone has been telling him that it would be extremely difficult to pick up and emulate Kapil Dev’s bowling style but he is looking forward to the challenge.
