Television and Film producer, Ekta Kapoor has become a mother to a baby boy. Based on the report published in Mumbai Mirror, Ekta had her child through surrogacy. According to the report, the child was born on January 27 and is in a healthy condition and is now fine to be taken home and Ekta Kapoor’s family is all ready to welcome him.

On June 1, 2017, her brother Tusshar Kapoor also took to surrogacy of a baby boy who has been named Laksshya. He is now a full-time father and blends his parental duties perfectly with his professional commitments.
Though Ekta has been vocal about not wanting to get married, it is apparent that she is ready to take on the responsibilities of a mother just like her brother, though, she has not yet confirmed the news of her motherhood officially.

Ekta Kapoor has given some of the biggest shows on television that became and still are a hit like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Bade Acche Lagte Hain, and Qayamat Ki Raat. Among films, her recent ones were Laila Majnu and Veere Di Wedding.
