The new Indian envoy to Myanmar, Saurabh Kumar, presented his credentials to the President of Myanmar on Wednesday. Kumar presented the Letter of Credence to the President of Myanmar, U WIN MYINT at a formal ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw.

Kumar is the 23rd Ambassador of India to Myanmar. He belongs to the 1989 Indian Foreign Service’s (IFS) batch. Prior to this, he was the Ambassador of India to Iran, where he did an exceptional job as the Indian envoy to Iran.
