Heavy rains and hail storm lashed the National Capital Region (NCR) on Tuesday disrupting rail and road traffic.
As many as 15 trains were delayed in Delhi due to low visibility because of the the foggy weather. The residents of Delhi and Gurugram also faced congestion in several parts of the city due to the heavy rains. Many areas in Delhi and Gurugram also faced water logged roads.

The delayed trains include the Howrah-New Delhi Poorva Express, Malda-Delhi Junction Farakka Express, Mumbai Amritsar Express and others. The Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express was late by six hours, Northern Railways said.
According to a MeT official, the Safdarjung observatory recorded 14.8 mm rainfall, Palam observatory 22.8 mm rainfall, Lodhi road observatory 15 mm rainfall and Aya Nagar observatory recorded 26.1 mm rainfall.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 12.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum at 22.6 degrees Celsius, as per the MeT department officials.
Rainfalls are predicted throughout the day.
