The valley is also called ‘Himachal’s Valley of Flowers’ and offers enchanting views of more than 15 peaks laden with snow.

How to get here: The best way to reach Miyar Valley is through Rohtang Pass from Manali or Kullu. From Kullu or Manali, you can take a taxi or a bus.

Lado Sarai, Delhi

When talking about rock climbing destinations, Delhi is also quite popular and places such as Lado Sarai are considered to be one of the best. This place offers a serene charm and has some old stable rocks for you to climb on. This destination is located in Qutab Minar in its DDA Park.

How to get here: You can drive to this location or take a metro till the Saket Metro Station. Auto-rickshaws are available outside the metro station that will take you to the DDA Park.

Malshej Ghat, Maharashtra

When you really want to unwind and engage in some adventure at the same time, Malshej Ghat comes across as the correct answer. Tucked in the Western Ghats, the Malshej Ghat is located on the Thane-Pune road and is a recommended option for rock climbing. The average height of the rocks is about 700 metres. Besides rock climbing, this destination makes for a brilliant weekend getaway.

How to get here: Kalyan is the nearest railway station from the Malshej Ghat at a distance of 85 kilometres. If not the train, you can also drive down to this place and enjoy the endearing landscape

Ramnagar, Karnataka

The formation of the several rocks makes Ramnagar a great choice for rock climbers in South India. The activity is managed by professional rock climbers who also teach the technicalities of the adventure sport. A few popular hills in Ramnagar are SRS Betta, Ramadevara Betta, and Thenginkalbetta. The hills made of granite also make them ideal for climbers who are short in height.

How to get here: Take a flight or train to Bengaluru and drive down or take a cab to Ramnagar from Bengaluru.
