Just hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, a police constable was killed after he was hit by a stone during violent protests.
The protest by Nishad Party workers soon turned violent as they started pelting stones.
MP Pathak, CO City, Ghazipur told ANI, “32 people have been named in the FIR. 60 unnamed people also mentioned in the FIR. A few people have also been arrested.”

The 49-year-old head constable, Suresh Vats, last his life while four others, two policemen and two civilians were left injured.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also announced a compensation of Rs 40 lakh for constable’s wife.
This is the second incident in December where a policeman lost his life to the violent mob. Inspector Subodh Kumar Singh was shot dead in Bulandshahr on December 3, after clashes erupted over cow slaughter allegations.
