WATCH: When music concert was struck by Tsunami in Indonesia

While hundreds of people lost their lives as a tsunami hit Indonesia on Sunday, a chilling video came out from the ground zero in which an Indonesian pop band, ‘Seventeen’, which was performing live near the beach was struck by a tsunami wave triggered by a volcanic eruption.

On the video, fans can be seen cheering before the wave smashes through the backdrop to the stage, sending the band members and their equipment crashing into the men and women dancing at the front.

Lead vocalist of the band, Riefian Fajarsyah, in an emotional video said that group’s bassist and road manager were killed.

“I just want to say that our bass player Bani and our manager Oki Wijaya passed away,” band member Riefian Fajarsyah said.

Reportedly, Fajarsyah’s wife, band’s drummer, the guitarist are missing after the incident.
