Sensex, Nifty advance for the fourth straight day; rise over 1%

The Sensex closed 453.46 points up at 36,170.41 on Thursday while the Nifty 50 ended 129.85 points higher at 10,858.70. The indices rose for the fourth straight day led by metal and energy stocks as well as the favourable comment made by the US Federal Reserve.
