YouTube ‘Superwoman’ to take a break

Date:

The popular YouTube comedian and vlogger, Lilly Singh known as the ‘Superwoman’ of YouTube is going on a break from posting content on her channels in order to regain her mental health and the creative abilities.

Before taking to YouTube she appeared in Hollywood projects such as ‘Bad Moms’, ‘Fahrenheit 451’, and ‘Ice Age: Collision Course’. She was also a part of documentaries like ‘A Trip to Unicorn Island’.

In the video, she said, “I am mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually exhausted,” said Singh, noting that she’s been creating videos consistently for the past eight years. “I’m not my optimal happiness right now. I could be mentally healthier.”

She further added that she is not quitting the platform and she will be back after her refreshing break for her fans and that her break does not change her feelings about YouTube or her followers. She refers to her fans as Team Super.

Lilly also mentioned about other YouTubers who took breaks recently from the platform such as Alisha Marie and said, “you are a great example for not only myself, but everyone else.”

Her non-stop content posting on the platform which is actually demanded from a YouTuber makes her feel that her videos have not been her best off-late according to her. She also said that she needs to focus on her other businesses as well for which she has got no time over the past eight years, since she became a YouTuber.

Apart from the current profession, she owns a production company named Unicorn Island Productions, speaks and anchors in events and engagements, and owns her own merchandize.
